B. Fisk Semi-Pro Baseball Team
This is a photo of the Frank B. Fisk semi-pro baseball team, sponsored by Eggleston Tire Company, that played in the Bi-County League in the Leaksville area in the 1920s. It was one of the most powerful semi-pro baseball teams the area ever produced. They regularly finished among the top teams in the league. On the front row are (from left to right): Frank Eggleston, Ring Carter, Emmett Taylor, John Foddrell, Francis Barham, and the manager/preacher Rev. J. W. McCollum.
