Notice the Martinsville Radio Station WMVA on the
far left had a Studio in Leaksville in the late 30's or early 40's
It was about 1939-1940 according to Pete the
radio announcer at that time.
Pete said the radio studio didn't go over well
because the link was by telephone when it worked and when it
did work it was hard to understand because of the noise on the telephone line.
